1" x 3" Black Slate Chips

In both a 1″ and 3″ size, Chili Bar Black Slate Chips are an excellent ground cover. Its size and flat shape prevent it from being blown away during routine landscape maintenance. Unlike bark mulch, the striking black color of the chips will not fade away with time. Slate chips compact well and are very durable for high traffic areas such as walkways, patios and drive ways. The unique dark color, excellent ground coverage and neutral Ph balance make it a great decorative rock for garden beds and landscaping. Additionally, Black Slate chips are fire resistant and will hold very little heat in the hot summers
